	in your diagrams that are not part of any "entry" of the matrix
	created by <code>&amp;</code> and <code> \\</code>.  This is done with the
	<em>excursion</em> command

	where <I>t</I> should be a target in one of the formats described in

	any kind of typesetting desired, for example,
