.SH DESCRIPTION
.I Bsplit
copies binary data from input
.I files
into a series of files with names starting with
.I prefix
.RL ( bs.\&
by default)
and of a fixed
.I size
(512MB by default).
The last file may be shorter than
.IR size .
This can be useful when copying large amounts of data onto
fixed-size storage media such as CDs or DVDs.
